June 29, 2011 – JUST FOR FUN! The City of Kitchener celebrated the installation of massive rooftop solar PV installation on its Operations Facility, and had arranged a bucket truck and crew to lift us up for a better view. Part of the fun saw EBMag’s editor, Anthony Capkun, go up in a bucket truck (for the first time!) for a closer look at the install.
The day was windy and the ride a little bumpy, and I have to admit I was a little… concerned… at first, but the operator had everything under control. A big thanks to the truck crew (and kudos) and the City for arranging such a great view of the roof.
