July 4, 2011 – Turolight has introduced a dimmable CFL bulb, Ilano, which it claims can last as long as an LED bulbs at a fraction of the cost. It says that the Ilano Flat Panel Fluorescent has no filaments and is water and chemical resistant which lends itself very well to usage in harsh conditions–and as a result, the construction also offers millions of on/off cycles with no effect on life or lumen maintenance.
