August 1, 2012 – Siemens has augmented the Sinvert PVS600 Series central inverter family to include the Sinvert PVS585 and Sinvert PVS630 units. The expanded series now covers an output range from 500KW up to 2520KW, which can counteract reduced compensation for electricity fed into the grid and increase overall profitability of photovoltaic (PV) plants, says Siemens. The Sinvert PVS585 offers output ranges of 585KW, 1170KW, 1755KW, and 2340kW, while the Sinvert PVS630 offers rated powers of 630KW, 1260KW, 1890KW and 2520KW.
