Panasonic Canada has introduced a multi-format HD/SD camera with integrated pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) mechanism. The AW-HE50 will be available in two versions: the AW-HE50H with HDMI output and AW-HE50S with HD/SD-SDI output and genlock. The AW-HE50 will be a key component in the company’s first complete IP and serial-control-capable system, says the company. Up to 100 AW-HE50 located in remote locations can be operated by a new remote camera controller, the AW-RP50. The camera has a full HD MOS sensor (effective resolution 1920 x 1080), producing realistic video in a range of lighting conditions and environments. The AW-HE50 supports 1080/59.94i, 1080/50i, 720/59.94p, 720/50p, 480/59.94i and 576/50i.
