June 25, 2024 – Ascot Capital Group—the owner of Stanpro (Standard Products Inc.)—has acquired NRG Management, a lighting agency with three locations in Quebec: Montreal, Quebec City, and Gatineau.

NRG will begin representing Stanpro for projects effective August 5, 2024. This will allow Stanpro to participate more effectively in specification projects and design-build than it can today with its direct sales force, says David Nathaniel, Ascot CEO.

The current owners of NRG—Marc Desparois, Lisette Thibault, Allain Durette—are remaining with the agency, continuing to operate NRG as an independent company.

Meantime, Nathaniel continues, Ascot will invest in and support NRG “to ensure it gains additional capabilities and presence in the market”.
