NxGen Modulara manufacturer of modular “mission-critical” buildings and assemblieshas formally launched its operations focused on the development and installation of modular data centres. Kris Holla leads the company as president and CEO.
“The mission-critical market is moving into a new dimension with
companies demanding speed-to-market, reduced upfront capital and
operational efficiencies that reduce ongoing cost,” said Holla.
Each NxGen data centre is tailored using a selection of 50
pre-engineered, designed and factory-tested modules that are assembled
according to a company’s specific needs. This building-block approach
aims to maximize efficiencies while retaining the flexibility needed for
a company’s continued growth. As a result, NxGen says it reduces data
centre’s upfront costs by 40% and operating costs by 30% while providing
a 40% reduction in time-to-market.
Holla joins NxGen from Emerson Network Power/Knuerr Group, where he
served as executive VP and chief sales officer. (Before its sale to
Emerson, Holla was part-owner of Knuerr Group.) Holla holds a Master’s
degree in industrial engineering, and a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical
engineering. He also holds an executive MBA.
