NJATC and BlueVolt launch NECA-IBEW training portal
November 4, 2010 | By Anthony Capkun
BlueVolt (an online learning and marketing platform) has partnered with the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC)—the training arm of IBEW and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) to “enhance NJATC’s online learning university”. NJATC’s new university (NJATCU) has been redesigned; now, students can participate in training from any location at any time, and view local training events and opportunities from training partners like Thomas & Betts and Ideal Industries. NJATCU’s integrated BlueVolt’s Learning Management System (LMS) provides capabilities such as: a calendar feature that helps JATCs promote local training events; blended learning features, including trackable assessments; social learning enhancements, and more.
