Moeller industrial control products will now be represented exclusively in Canada by CopperLogic Inc. (Ltd.).

Ben Orr, CopperLogic’s director of marketing communications, explained
that Moeller’s Canadian (and U.S.) sales organizations were actually
sold to the present management group five years ago. “We continued to
do business as Moeller Electric until the sale of Moeller GmbH last
year. This name change has been planned for a while.”

Orr went on to say that the change is in name only: “We’re the same
group of people selling Moeller products to a loyal customer base. We
just have a different name on our business cards.”

The company currently sells through a network of 600+ distributors in
Canada and the U.S., and plans to expand its lineup immediately by
introducing CopperLogic-branded control products that compliment the
Moeller brand. It will also continue to manufacture and market motor
control centres and custom control panels, as well as support Moeller’s
installed base of these products.

Orr said the transition from Moeller Electric to CopperLogic was
announced in a private communication to its channel and customer base
in October. He expects the transition to be complete by mid 2010.
