September 25, 2013 – Leviton’s new Thermostat Display Control (TDC, part No. 95A03-1TWH) can control climate of any room, says the company, and is designed to be used with its Omnistat2 RC-2000 series thermostats as an easy-to-access interface.
Leviton’s RC-2000 series thermostats can control both single- and multi-stage HVAC systems, and are available using either hard-wired or ZigBee wireless communication. The TDC has a built-in temperature sensor that can be averaged with other TDC sensors and/or the sensor in the RC-2000 thermostat; temperature-averaging among these devices ensures precise reading and automation for enhanced energy efficiency, says Leviton.
