June 20, 2013 – Itray by Legrand, the next generation of its PW line of cable tray products, features an optimized side rail design that allows mid-span splicing while maintaining full NEMA load class, says the company. The sidewall is engineered with structural offsets and a matching splice that makes mid-span splices possible, reducing the number of supports and the amount of attachment hardware needed, it boasts. The aluminum I-beam design minimizes total tray width to help create a smoother transition between straight sections and fittings. Itray is offered in 4-in. to 7-in. tray depths and widths from 6-in. to 36-in. with a selection of fittings that have been engineered specifically for the redesigned tray.
