September 7, 2011 – Kichler adds 13 new models, including 8 Energy Star-qualified fans, a custom indoor/outdoor collection and several decorative styles. As part of its Energy Star fan expansion, Kichler has introduced 5 models with a direct current (DC) motor that uses 70% less energy than traditional AC induction motors and lasts significantly longer, it says. These are: Rivetta, Lacey, Kemble, Walker, and Brookfield.
