IndigoVision launches 9000 series IP dome camera with WDR and low light sensitivity
October 24, 2011 | By Alyssa Dalton
October 24, 2011 – IndigoVision, a manufacturer of complete IP Video security solutions, has launched an IP dome camera based on Pixim’s ‘Seawolf’ sensor. Using progressive scan and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), the company claims the camera delivers outstanding picture quality, even in challenging lighting. Features of the dome include Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) for lower installation costs, and built-in input/output (I/O) capability. Two opto-isolated inputs and an opto-isolated relay output allow external systems to be connected. The inputs can trigger events and alarms in ‘Control Center’, IndigoVision’s Video Management Software, and the output can be switched by automatically generated or operator controlled actions, adds IndigoVision.
