January 9, 2012 | By Alyssa Dalton

January 9, 2012 – The 2012 IEEE IAS Electrical Safety Workshop (ESW), held in Daytona Beach, Fla., January 30-February 3, is just around the corner. EBMag’s Anthony Capkun will be there… will you?

The conference has arranged for a behind-the-scenes tour of the International Speedway facility (home of the Daytona 500) with a special talk on the electrical systems. Thomas & Betts is offering a tour of its manufacturing plant in Ormond Beach, including its impact extruding and electro-plating facilities. Also, a nature tour on the Indian River (Inland waterway) is available. Check under “Technical Tours” on the ESW 2012 web site for more details and how to register.
