Ideal Industries released a line of RG-59 and RG-6 Plenum BNC connectors that feature nickel-plated brass construction. The CCTV estimated that 65% of system problems are caused by faulty cable connections and termination, which is why Ideal created these to “reduce critical failures,” says the release. These 75-ohm connectors cover dual-shield Plenum-rated coaxial cables with a compression-style sleeve. The connectors fit tightly to cameras, monitors and DVRs, and have gold plated center and outer contacts. It also includes coloured cable bands for coding.
