Fluke FEV150 helps “ensure the seamless operation of electric fleets”

August 14, 2024 | By Anthony Capkun

August 14, 2024 – The latest addition to its line of eMobility and electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) test solutions, the Fluke FEV150 is engineered to “streamline the maintenance workflow of EV charging stations”.

The all-in-one solution includes TruTest EV Charging software, which integrates with the FEV150 via Bluetooth connection to provide predetermined test plans, pass/fail indications, and pre-test voltage safety information.

The FEV150 tests AC EV charging stations with Type 1 (J1772) or Tesla-type connectors, and includes auto-Control Pilot (CP) waveform analysis, while visual indicators accelerate testing and simplify analysis. The PE (protective) earth pre-test, meantime, ensures no dangerous voltages are present.

“We recognize the critical importance of not just deploying EV charging stations, but also maintaining them to ensure the seamless operation of electric fleets,” said Sal Parlatore.
