Fergus Business Park welcomes Hammond Manufacturing as the first property owner

June 25, 2024 – Hammond Manufacturing Co. Ltd. has acquired 11.5 acres at Centre Wellington’s new business park in Fergus, Ontario.

“Our company needs to expand to continue to grow in our industry. This site will be our new manufacturing hub to meet future growth,” said Alex Stirling, executive vice-president. “We at Hammond are excited to become a contributing member of the community.”

Hammond is the first property owner in the new business park, which is located at 6518 First Line in the northeast area of Fergus.

“We are thrilled to welcome Hammond Manufacturing, a longstanding and reputable business, to Centre Wellington,” said Mayor Shawn Watters. “Their presence will bring hundreds of jobs and generate significant economic and social opportunities for our community.”

Hammond Manufacturing makes a range of products for the electronic and electrical products industry, including metallic and non-metallic enclosures, racks, small cases, outlet strips, surge suppressors, and electronic transformers.
