Extech Instruments released the new DT300: a compact, pro-grade laser distance meter. With it, you can measure distances and angles, and compute area and volume. Even in glare conditions, the DT300’s laser and large, backlit, 3-line display help you measure targets up to 164 ft away with 0.06-in. accuracy. The lightweight pocket-sized meter is suitable for one-handed operation. Useful functions include Min/Max readings, indirect Pythagorean calculations from two or three other measurements, 20 reading memory, easy addition and subtraction, and auto-off.
