CommScope says it’s the first cabling manufacturer with a Differential Mode Delay (DMD) testing facility to be qualified by Underwriter’s Laboratories (UL) and, as such, has developed a high-resolution DMD (HRDMD) bandwidth-testing method for OM4 cables that exceeds current standards traditionally designed for OM3 cabling. CommScope has also written a white paper detailing the technology behind this process.
