December 4, 2014 – The call for entries has been issued for the 2014 GE Edison Award competition, which recognizes lighting professionals who creatively employ significant use of GE Lighting products.

Those products include (but are not limited to) LED systems, LED luminaires, LED architectural products, LED lamps and modules, lighting controls and non-LED lamps and luminaires that were used in a lighting design project completed between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2014.

The 2014 GE Edison Award winner is selected from among the Awards of Excellence and remains confidential until announced at the GE Edison Awards Ceremony in New York, N.Y., May 4, 2015—the evening before Lightfair begins. The winner receives a personalized Steuben crystal trophy and continued publicity throughout the following year.

The deadline to enter is January 19, 2015.
