August 6, 2024 – City Electric Supply’s third annual fundraising golf tournament surpassed its fundraising goal, raising over $10,000 for Make-A-Wish Canada.

Hosted by City’s BC Interior District in May at Sunset Ranch Golf & Country Club in Kelowna, the event attracted community members, local electrical companies, customers, vendors, and employees from City’s Kelowna, West Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon, and Salmon Arm branches.

“It was inspiring and humbling to have a sold-out event in just our third year and surpass our fundraising goal of $10,000 for a second year in a row,” said James Cookson, district manager. “The continued success of this tournament is a great testament to the local electrical contractor community and their willingness to step up […] and help CES raise significant funds for such a great charity.”

City Electric says the tournament featured “friendly competition, a substantial prize table and a delightful sit-down meal, creating a memorable experience for all 140 participants”.
