November 1, 2012 – Black & Decker has introduced the Gyro 4V Max Lithium-ion rechargeable screwdriver (BDCS40G), describing it as the world’s first motion-activated screwdriver that controls speed and direction. Featuring gyroscopic technology, Black & Decker claims users only need to rotate their wrist 1/4-turn to the right for forward or left for reverse. The screwdriver also features a LED light, two standard screwdriving bits, and jack plug charger.
