Copper and fiber optic cabling technology and solutions manufacturer Berk-Tek, a Nexans Company, has named Brian Simmons as Copper Product Manager. 

Reporting to Todd Harpel, director of marketing, Simmons is responsible for managing the copper cable product line to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve operating profit. In doing so, Simmons will act as the key interface between customers, internal sales teams, reps, manufacturing and engineering for Berk-Tek’s twisted-pair copper cable products, manufactured at the New Holland facility.

Simmons has been with Berk-Tek for 20 years and has held various positions in the organization. Most recently, he served as Inside Sales Manager and prior to that, OEM Sales Service Manager and Inside Sales Account Manager. 

“With his long-term company experience, in-depth knowledge of Berk-Tek products and existing customer relations, Brian will easily transition into this role and be an asset to our sales and marketing team,” said Harpel.  

For more than 45 years, Berk-Tek has been a manufacturer of more than 100 different network copper and fiber optic cable products, with facilities in New Holland, PA, Fuquay-Varina, NC and Elm City, NC.
