December 16, 2013 – Appleton has unveiled its M-Line multi-pin connectors for heavy-duty and hazardous locations up to 600 VAC/VDC, boasting the widest range of connection solutions for the industrial market.
Designed to connect and disconnect power, control and instrumentation equipment, M-Line connectors promise to help industrial facilities achieve increased operational flexibility and productivity. When used as back-up power connections, the connectors claim to reduce downtime by allowing employees to switch to generator power in the event of a main power failure. Users can choose between the MEP series for hazardous ATEX/IECEx locations, or the MN series for heavy-duty but non-hazardous environments. Both models share plug-and-play operability to help reduce installation and maintenance costs while providing IP68 environmental protection.
