AFL introduces sub-unitized Premise MicroCore cable

January 20, 2014 – AFL has launched the next generation of its sub-unitized Premise MicroCore fiber optic cables, suitable for use in high-density infrastructures.
According to the company, the 2.0 mm cable is designed for direct termination and support both single and multi-fiber architectures, while promising savings in both space and fiber management. Available in 12 to 144 fibers, sub-unitized MicroCore is compliant to RoHS/REACH directives and NFPA 262 plenum-rated.
