June 19, 2024 – AEMC’s 1000V CAT IV clamp-on meters models 404 and 606 are designed to be easily used by one hand, including function selection and button pushing—even with gloves on. Both models measure volts, amps, frequency, resistance, diode checking and continuity, but the 606 also offers power and THD (total harmonic distortion) measurement.

Both meters are designed for durability and come with an IP 54 rating. The 404’s jaws open to 48 mm, and the 606 opens to 60 mm. Applications for the clamp meters include solar panel and inverter testing, electrical maintenance, safety lighting system maintenance, AC or DC motor testing, and more.
